With over 25 years of personal experience and professional involvement in the counter-trafficking movement, Jennisue Jessen has gathered intimate knowledge of the depths of trauma survivors endure. Having been sold into the sex trade at a very young age, she has seen the darkest corners of humanity.
However, rather than letting those experiences define her, they have ignited a passion within her to contribute to cultural and systemic change in this sphere. At Compass31, hearts break for those who have been victimized by human trafficking, and Jennisue and her team firmly believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual.
Her mission is to fight this crime through prevention, restoration, and leadership development. She aims to offer transformative hope and healing to those trafficked for sex or labor and prevent this crime from perpetuating through our global education initiatives. In this conversation Jennisue is real and raw and I firmly believe that this conversation and approach to addressing human trafficking from a place of faith and resilience could provide an enlightening perspective to all who listen.
This is a powerful and inspiring conversation which will help you look at things from a different perspective and, slow down to the speed of love.
